“Get excited and enthusiastic about your own dream. This excitement is like a forest fire—you can smell it, taste it, and see it from a mile away”.
This month has been a rollercoaster on my blog and in my personal life. I have not been consistent in any area what so ever this month. I don’t know what’s up but the month of April, but it has been my least favorite of this month! When trying to find the silver lining in this less than perfect I came up with an idea for a blogging series. This series is all about dreaming, achieving, and reaching success in whatever your heart desires. We will start this series off simple with learning how to be a dreamer.
How To Be a Dreamer
- Dream with no limits. Don’t put a cap on your imagination. Dream as if you were a kid and anything is possible. Stay optimistic and curious because you might be the one to make the impossible possible.
- Make your dreams visual. Every year I make a visual board of what I want the year to look like. Visualizing your dreams on paper make them seem more achievable. It’s like a blueprint. Architects don’t start building without a plan so why should you?
- Don’t think about other people’s opinions. The first way to kill an idea, theory, dream or even food suggestion is to ask someone their opinion. If you have your mind made up trust yourself and trust the path that you are on. If you ever find yourself a little unsure of what to do go for a run, or a walk to clear your before you make a decision.
- Don’t be afraid to stand out. Sometimes you have to doggy paddle into your dreams to make them into a reality. Nothing worth having happens in a blink of an eye. Great things take time and a boatload of hard work!
