Beyond the Lights & More
Hey guys how was your day?
**In my movie review I will just statement my opinions and not give any spoilers away. I am not giving any spoilers away because I hate spoilers it ruins the movies for me.**
I really liked the movie Beyond the Lights because it’s like the modern-day Bodyguard. Beyond the Lights, stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Noni. Noni’s love interest in the movie is Kaz play by Nate Parker. To give you a short rundown of the movie Taz saves Noni in the beginning of the movie and from then on they were locked. Kaz helped Noni overcome her problems and she helped him to in other ways.
I recommend this movie to anyone because it’s not a cliché about how a star falls for a bodyguard. This movie is about finding the real you and your voice. By dumb luck, she finds the love of a person who truly sees the real her. Check out the trailer to see if this movie is for you.
This weekend my mom and I went to this extremely cute boutique on our weekly mommy and daughter outings. This boutique resells high-end designer clothing like Versace, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. I recommend this boutique to anyone who wants to look like $1 million without spending it. I got a new bag that I got from this boutique, they got it from the Drop Dead Divas TV set.
Aaliyah Princess of R&B
This movie was extremely whiny. I felt it showed Aaliyah as a whiny child who was head over heels in love with R Kelly. This movie showed a whole new side of Aaliyah to me because I didn’t know about her and R Kelly since I was only born in 1998. From the little research I’ve done, I’m not the only one who didn’t like this movie. One of the main reasons I didn’t like this movie was because it really didn’t focus on her music, it just focused on her trying to become a successful star. Now I can understand why the family didn’t want to be a part of this movie in the first place.
