Sports Illustrated Normal Size

Hey how is your day going?

I am at home sick again today. Hopefully I am better by tomorrow :).

Sports Illustrated pumping up the curves this issue. Ashley Graham the plus size model you see above rocking that bikini says ” I don’t like that there is a division between straight size and plus size models in the fashion world. I am trying to bridge that gap. Call me what you like. I know who I am.” Graham told style has no size. This is amazing in my opinion for Ashley Graham to stand in her truth and say yes I know I am not skinny, but I am comfortable in my skin because I know who I am. Ashley Graham is a person I could see myself taking advice from because I have curves like she does and I don’t think it’s right that the fashion world has divisions because there is not just one size in the world there are many. When I first saw Ashley Graham’s picture I was kinda shocked to learn that it was from Sports Illustrated because I am not used to seeing someone who looks normal/ average to the everyday woman in Sports Illustrated. Ashley Graham has a similar outlook on people’s bodies as I do she says “It doesn’t matter if you’re a size 2 or 22 as long as you’re taking care of your body, working out, and telling yourself, ‘I love you’ instead of taking in the negativity of beauty standards”Graham told etonline.I think we should have more normal looking models like Ashley Graham to show that everyone can work what they have and not kill to be some person they see in a magazine, but this all goes back to self-confidence too. Which I think a lot of people are lacking, but that is a whole different subject.

Comment your opinions I want to know what you think!
