Ponder the thought

Hey loves!

“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven”- Luke 6:37

Does everyone deserve forgiveness when they do something wrong? (Response in the comments)

The old me would have said NO because the person knew what they were doing when they did it so, why forgive them. Now as I’m getting older I’ve learned in order to be forgiven for the mistakes you make you have to forgive those who have wronged you. I’ve also learned forgiveness makes you the bigger person because you let go of the resentment you have towards the person who has wronged you and you regain control over your actions again. What I learned from not forgiving people is its like swallowing poison and hoping they die. You’re giving the reins of your life to someone else. Someone who has hurt you and is now controlling you due to your feelings. Sometimes you have to put your feelings aside and think with a calm head what is the rational way for me to get on with my life; without this bothering me. The answer would be forgive (Yessss it’s hard as hell to let go, but you have to in order to grow. Forgive but you don’t have to forget to learn from the experience)
