The Giving Tree

Hey loves!

This weekend my family and I kicked off the holiday season, by spending this past Saturday morning helping in a shelter. I enjoyed the whole process of helping the shelter. Picking out the tree was fun and it was even more rewarding when seeing the faces of the kids/parents at the shelter. This was the second year that the Atlanta Mission homeless shelter had a live tree. The residence at the shelter said, “it was nice to see the tree because it shows that people care”. It’s a hurting feeling that people in this world feel as if they don’t matter especially when they need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to help them when their down. We’ve made more plans to go to the shelter along with my mother’s co-workers during other times in the year to continue to give back in the world. Side note the shelter gave us all T-shirts!
