Social Norms “David’s Bridal Dress”

Hey loves!

I have been enduring AP Psychology since the beginning of the school year just to be this one project. The social norms project is about doing/ wearing something that is not socially acceptable and seeing how people react to you. For example, wearing a bikini to church or even wearing pajamas out in public. For my project, I wore a David’s Bridal dress to school for the entire day to see how people would react to you. Some of the reactions were very shocking and others were breathtakingly sweet. Little underclassmen girls coming up to me telling me that I inspire them to wear whatever they want to school is something I will never forget. Since being in Ap Psychology I have learned more about what makes humans have humanity and what makes them lose it. This is an extremely intense class, but for anyone who has the ability to take it, I would recommend it.
