I have been working tremendously hard at work and school this past couple of months. Those two things had become my temporary focus for all my time. As the saying goes hard work pays off! All the work that I had been putting in helped me afford my biggest purchase of my life a MacBook pro! I am extremely grateful and now I finally understand “how much a dollar cost”. Today my MacBook pro got delivered and the most remarkable “exchanged” happened. QVC messed up by address after they verified my purchased, so the UPS man didn’t drop off my package during the day. After I got out of school and noticed that my computer hadn’t been delivered I called UPS and the lady said she would ask the driver if he could come back and try to drop my computer off (such a blessing because she could have made me wait an extra day). Then, when the UPS man dropped my computer off he told me that the only reason he came back was because of my name. I didn’t understand his reasoning until he told me about the Egyptian queen whose name I share. She was the queen in the book of Exodus that adopted Moses (after finding him in a basket flowing down the river). She was a kind, bold and fearless woman who had courage as the days were long. I thought it was such a coincidence that he mentioned that because I have been studying the bible religiously lately. To wrap up this story I just wanted to reflect and say always be kind to others because we are all at the mercy of one another.
Ps. My birchbox got delivered today as well and the review will be coming out soon!
