Why I Canceled My Birchbox Subscription

Hey loves!

I subscribed to Birchbox in December 2015.  I have enjoyed my run with them. I have been introduced to a whole new world of beauty products. I found my favorite perfume (Juliette Has A Gun). That perfume had me so captured by the aroma that I had to cop it. I kid you not I got some many compliments on that fragrance.  I tried some amazing mascaras. New facial mask products. The BB creams have been A1 that I have received. With all that said there are downsides to having the subscription. Right now in June 2017, I don’t see the relevance of still being a member of the Birchbox community. Being a newbie to the makeup world Birchbox helped me a lot in finding products that I love and that I have in my routine. Like the brand Eyeko (a London eyeliner company) is the only brand of eyeliner I wear because of Birchbox. My eye for make is keener now and that is why I canceled my subscription. I more knowable about makeup now and can make decisions about what works for me than having Birchbox do it. June 2017 was my last time reviewing Birchbox.

  1. Loved this! This is also why I cancelled my Ipsy bag (also because I wasn’t too thrilled with their recent sends). Glad to find someone who agrees! I’ve never tried BirchBox before but it sounds similar to Ipsy. I also want to try Sephora’s Play Box.
Anyway, I loved this entry. I’ve been following your blog for quite some time, and I’m definitely hooked. Looking forward to your future content.
