French Braiding Curly Hair

Hey loves!

My hair was really dry and brittle before we departed on Thanksgiving vacation, so I decided to french braid my hair instead of throwing it up into a messy bun to bring some life to it.

How I french braid my curly hair

Step 1 & 2

I first started by parting my hair down the middle and wetting the left side of my hair.

Step 3 & 4

I combed out my hair with a wide tooth comb and applied Carol’s Daughters Hair Milk.

Step 5 & 6

Once my hair was detangled I began to braid the left side of my hair down into a braid.

Step 7

The dry and brittle right side

Repeat steps 1 through 6 on the right side of my hair until the braid is complete.

Step 8 & 9

I laid my edges down with my favorite and wrapped my hair, so it could dry on the car ride up to South Carolina.
