Golden Globes Reaction

Hey loves!

My Thoughts

Oprah, you did that! Oh my gosh, she is so amazing. I bet there was not a dry eye in that room at the end of her speech. I felt chills during her speech. I kid you not I was glued to the TV and was picking up every word she was putting down. I felt like the little girl she was talking too during the speech at the Golden Globes watching her make history on TV. It is mind altering to see a woman and not just any woman, but a woman of color in such a power position like Oprah’s. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to look up to boss women like my mom, Oprah, Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, Beyonce, Kerry Washington Taraji P. Henson and many more. The impact that these trailblazers have in the world when the odds are stacked against them to succeed is breath-taking. I am truly inspired to always dwell in truth no matter what the consequence is because of those women and women like them in the world that do not get the recognition they deserve. The TimesUp campaign is amazing to see come forth. I am so proud of Hollywood for using their platform to help their sisters in other working fields. This is a true definition of “Yes We Can” sisterhood!
